Amazing family run place. Food is fantastic. We took my son for dinner. We always get the pizza which is so freaking good. Especially the tomato pie. This time we got a pizza and a Vodka Chicken Parm meal. Salad was great, bread was tasty and so was the potato wedges we got as an appetizer. Staff was so attentive and friendly. Love this place. Saturday and Monday the do 2 pizzas for 25 which is unheard of. Especially for pizza this good.

Good pizza, cannoloi, and more traditional Italian food. Came in after a drive from NC, saw my brother's and a special someone. So after an 8 hour drive, I was hungry. It's my 1st time in New Jersey. So this is my 1st stop. Driving is not as bad as I thought it would be. The scenery is actually kinda pretty, almost southern like. This is a very small corner store, but as soon you walk in, it is almost the size of a cafe/diner. The atmosphere was relaxing, but I did come in after like 730ish on a Sunday. Gabby was my waitress, and she was brand new. I've been in that spot before. So I took my time ordering my food and didn't want to bother or stress Gabby too much. I wanted Chicken Marsala as I was thinking of a certain someone. So I got it to compare, a side Caesar salad and a slice of Tomato Pie. I am glad I was slightly hungry. The chicken was tender juicy and reminded me of her cooking... no where close as hers... but I could tell their style is very close to traditional italian cooking. They pounded the chicken to a super thin filet which is something I had actually seen her do to her thick chicken as well...The mushrooms were a mix of what looked to be baby bellas and regular, slightly seared but not mushy and still had chewy texture.. There were some broccoli florets tips. Very small amount, but it was recognizable. The sauce was gravy like, but not thick...and I waited about 3 minutes, and it started to turn into a thin film of skim. So there was creme added. Maybe due to how late I came in, the marsala sauce didn't get time to thicken enough... or maybe hers sauce was just thicker. The slice was delicious. Never have I had such an extremely thin slice before, but this may be my new standard. It folded nicely, and I had a good sear and crunch. I just wish I ordered more... one slice wasn't enough. I am sad because I didn't get to try their Mexican slice. They served red sauce pasta on the side... which I didn't expect. No meat, but if I did order tha

We ordered two custom tomato pies - one with garlic & roasted red peppers, and another sausage with green peppers. Both had so much flavor in the pie itself as well as the toppings. Toppings were evenly distributed and perfectly bite sized. And then there’s the Chopped Antipasto salad. Holy cow - if there was ever a perfect salad - this is it! Nobody does a chopped antipasto like Palermo’s - it’s always our go to. I know they are usually busy, but the quality of the food never suffers or reflects it. Forever happy customers who will keep coming back!

I loved the variety of food, and there were so many gluten-free free and vegetarian options. The service was great. The only reason I gave them 4 stars. It was a holiday and they were short staff. Our waitress was fantastic. It's in a little shopping strip and you would never know just how good it is. Definitely should have taken more pictures.

Ordered takeout for little house party. Everything was delicious and delivered on time. Everyone loved the pizzas, cheesesteak Stromboli and apps. Best part was our delivery man. Very friendly and astatic about our visit from Santa and Mrs. Claude. He took a selfie with them and was so proud to be working at Palermo’s for 20 years. Great food and great people! Definitely our new pizza spot!

Palermos has been a bordentown staple for me since I was about 7 years old. I remember coming here for pizza or chicken fingers as a kid and slowly my grown up taste buds came in and I ventured out to calzones, cheesesteaks and of course chicken cheesesteaks. And since I was 7 I have never had a bad meal here....this place is authentic with a very clean environment. One bite pizza review even gave them a high rating. If you havent been to palermos you are missing out. The tomato pie is extraordinary. BTW im 39 now, so 32 years of a superb product, you cant go wrong.

For a quick bite pizzeria their other food items are a 10/10. The vodka mozzarella sticks: The vodka sauce here is one of the best. The mozzarella sticks were teeny tiny but it was nice to have the vodka sauce as a dip Chicken parm sandwich: Came out super hot, filled, and large. The cheese was perfectly melted on top. Fettuccine Carbonara: Weird in the best way possible. The color of the sauce was more yellow and the flavor was different than a staple Carbonara and that is why this was amazing. I highly suggest it. Also, they were generous in portion and even in the amount of bacon in the sauce. If youre a white sauce person this is a must try Only con: Spinach Egg Drop soup was not for me. If you like this soup its probably very good. I should have gone with the other soup option then had but I was feeling adventurous.

Recently we had graduation plans and it fell through. I left a message asking if they can accommodate 20 people last minute. Not only did he reply very quickly he assured me he is aware of fluctuating times on when graduation would be done. So he was flexible on our arrival time. I placed our order prior to us arriving and as soon as we sat down, our appetizers were already arriving. Vincent and crew went above our expectations and That’s just the service!!! Food and pizza were amazing and properly showed our visitors from out of town what JERSEY pizza was about. Thank you again for a wonderful night!

As someone who rarely likes thin crust pizza, I was absolutely blown away with Palermo’s Tomato Pie! Whether it was the crispy crust or juicy tomatoes, everything about it was very satisfying to eat. Staff was also super nice, checking in regularly and giving the atmosphere such a warm feeling! Can officially say, I’m a big fan of thin sliced pizza, and bigger fan of Palermo’s. 👏

Remember you can't judge a book by it's cover. The outside seems fair and kind of inviting but once you get in it's a really nice restaurant style place. The food was so amazing, the waitresses and owner are super nice and respectful. Literally the food was out of this world. I highly recommend their marinara sauce and also the Cheesesteak hoagie. When I say this stuff is good I mean it's good. The taste, quality, freshness is fantastic. I definitely recommend this place and will be back again. I will be back with family or friends.
